From the first step into our vineyard to the final drop in your glass, this is wine tasting done the Missing Gate way—authentic, scenic, and full of character.

Vineyard Tours & Tasting

Your visit begins with a walk through Lodge*, our original vineyard block, where your guide will share how we began, the grape varieties we grow, and how we craft our wines.

The tour ends with a tasting in our Tasting Lodge led by one of our highly knowledgeable team.

Vineyard Tour Options:

  • Tour + Wine Flight – £ 30 per person

*A friendly reminder: the wine tour begins at Missing Gate Vineyard, Lodge Road, Bicknacre, Chelmsford CM3 4HG, and the wine tasting will take place at our Lodge on Creephedge Lane, Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford CM3 8FQ.

Wine Tasting Flights

Make yourself at home in our brand new Tasting Lodge and sample a curated selection of our best-loved wines. Choose wines from across our entire range, each offering a glimpse into the character of our vintages:

  • Wine Flight – £15 per person
    Three 50ml pours of wines from our cellar, including multiple vintages of our acclaimed Pinot Blanc, two contrasting expressions of rosé, and our Two Horse Pinot Noir from the fine 2022 vintage.

Add a delicious charcuterie board to your tasting for the full experience:

  • Wine Flight + Charcuterie – £35 per person

From now until December 23rd, tastings are available to book:

  • Monday to Sunday

  • Wine Flight: 1pm–4pm (5pm Thurs - Sat, 12 - 4pm Sun)

  • Wine & Charcuterie: 1pm , 3pm and 5pm (+2pm Thurs - Sun, up to 8 guests per booking)

    *Wine flights are also available for walk-ins; charcuterie is only available with a pre-order
